Grabel, do you have any pictures? It sounds like you have gotten a lot of work done on yours.

If he does he should start his own build post.

Re: 1956 S-102 Build

The rebuild was done during 2006 and 2007. Sadly most of the pictures are lost now. I have continued with a few improvements here and there over the years. I had always wanted disc brakes on the front because while my ZZ4 Chev V8 engine and TH350 trans generated plenty of power and speed it didnt stop well enough.... :x

So I got the TSM kit sent over a few years ago but have just got around to fitting it.

Some of the changes: Chrysler Valiant (Aust) rear end. Ford Courier (Aust) bucket seats. Trans floor shifter. Fully wooded interior of well side bed. (Aust hardwood Jarrah)

It goes like a rocket and certainly turns heads everywhere.

I think I may have posted a picture on here some years ago. I'll have a look.

Bit new to this trying to post a pic.

The picture showing the back allows you to see one of the twin rear windows. It also shows the bed and internal sides we constructed using 'Jarrah' hardwood. The light on top of the cab was originally blue. They were a legal requirement here in the late 50s for when towing a trailer at night. It still works and I like it; so I've kept it.

A click on the photo should enlarge it.
