I just purchased an Espar heater and timer from Winnipeg, If the tracking is to believed, it has moved smoothly through customs and should be here Monday. What problems are you experiencing?

Packages originating outside of Canada have been subjected to long delays. There is an elevated chance of expensive brokerage being added.
I do not have access to my mail-box in Point Roberts, WA. The border is closed. https://p2pparcel.com
If I can collect my packages and declare them at the border I can avoid the $100 minimum broker fee.

Well, this is my 1st time getting something inbound from Canada (I think, I might have before but don't remember) but have sent to Canada and I had to fill out Customs paperwork. I have got stuff from Germany and I don't remember a hassle.
I guess I'll see when it gets here. RIght now it is in Omaha.

That's good looking tach, does that mean the 52 is getting worked on again?

I am gathering stuff. I like to have the bits and piece I might need or want ready and waiting.
I am feeling so much better and I would like to get out to the shop and do something soon. I have lost much of the summer.
Thanks for looking.

Espar arrived yesterday, and no problems. I have a feeling this guy sells south of the boarder alot and knows how to get it done. ANyway, I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Re: 1952-L110 Shorty.

I am still looking for a K and KB tachometer. Any help will be appreciated.
I have several other IHC tachometers that work reliably, but I want this style.
The engine is a CUMMINS 4bta. the mechanical tachometer drive is shop made, in my shop.

I am 8 day home from a long hospital stay. I am learning to walk safely again. My legs were suddenly paralyzed and I took a hard fall. Six weeks of intense rehabilitation got me up and walking, with a walker. I am working on walking without supervision.
This is my reward for a life well wasted.

Re: 1952-L110 Shorty.

I was stating to think I might risk a walk to my shop, it started to snow, heavily. The first snow dump was about 50cm followed by rain. The snow was all but gone when the temperature dropped and the rain changed to snow. We are experiencing freezing temperature and very slippery conditions. We are being advised to stay indoors and avoid travel, unless absolutely necessary. I live in a steep hill area, and a step onto the ice will include a long slide to the bottom of the street. I cannot take the risk of another fall. The last fall condemned me to using a walker and daily pain. :t2102:
The sidewalks in the back yard remain covered with ice. We cannot use salt, on the sidewalk, because salt burns the dog's feet.

There is salt free ice melt available.

https://safepaw.com/product/safe-paw/ is the first thing that popped up in google in regards to animals, no idea how effective it is.

We use Mag-Melt at work on our aluminum ramps to prevent corrosion (magnesium based)
