I just got off the telephone with one of the customer service advisors at
https://www.dieselconversion.com/ This person knows his business and how to service a perspective customer. I have made up my mind and I/we will by buying our AC bracket from Diesel Conversion. Each bracket is custom made at the time of the order. Because the bracket is CNC there is a choice of AC compressors and alternators each require some modification to the base bracket.
I am going with the Pac Brake relocation kit. I want to move the oil filter to a more convenient location. I am thinking the triangle area at the right front of the frame will be an ideal location. The filter will be vertical and accessible from the underside.
Our 4bt has the lower mounted turbo. The 90 degree elbow was making contact with the oilfilter. With our filter relocated, I will be better able to fabricate an airfilter mounting bracket. I think thee might be enough room for one of the 6.8 Diesel filter canisters. I found a BANKS filter canister lid on Craigslist and I hope to be ale to use it. If this filter assembly does not go on the "L" I will make it fit on my "R" Crewcab.
