Re: 1957 S-180

After I started posting I realized I exceeded the limit. These should have gone first.

Re: 1957 S-180

it is a decent way to learn! the metal in these trucks are a bit thicker than new stuff, gives you a little "leeway" before you "burn through". We all started somewhere. Looks like you are getting it done, and that is what matters.

After my seeing your COE pictures, I am thinking the motorhome frame is a better idea. 42
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Re: 1957 S-180

It most definately is. Bought motor home for $1500 and have sold appliances and stuff out of it for more than that already. So got updated brakes, fuel tank, motor, ac, axles and frame for more than free.

Re: 1957 S-180

Very cool project. Tell us more about the build. What's the final objective? Looks like you have a goal in mind, maybe a vintage delivery truck for a business?

When I first opened this thread I thought maybe you were building a toy hauler.
