I've now finished selling all parts of the dakota im.not using and have actually made $20 over what I paid for the whole thing! My frame and running gear are officially free.

A little humor and a lot of enthusiasm for your position.

Nothing super photo worthy this weekend. Had yard work to do. I did finish the last cab mount. Started mocking up steering. Looks like it's going to line up really well. Pulled the seat so I can get the old rats nest off and some new vinyl on.

Got the cab all cleaned out.

Found a cool metal build sheet stuck to the inside.

Things will gradually slow on the build. I'm at a point where I need glass and seals to continue. Funny how the little thing are much harder and more costly. I have a solid body on a solid frame with a running engine and transmission. I am only in the project about 1300 bucks. I'm not painting the truck so that's a huge savings, but all the little crap that's left is about $5k worth of parts plus my labor!

No. It was an L160 grain truck. I was just going to put a flatbed on it.

Started getting the wiring in and was drilling for the master cylinder but my harbor freight hole saw thought otherwise.
