Actually the red tank in the picture is the tank for the air ride. I have a spun aluminum 15 gallon tank getting mounted at the front of the bed after I mount the oak boards.

Great progress!! One of the advantages of having an S is that it makes it easier to customize the grill. Those of us with L models would have to remove significant sheet metal to even try to achieve a custom look anywhere near what you've managed. Certainly a new look on that face!

Finished the wood bed this afternoon. Red oak I split and grooved on my table saw and covered with 4 coats of gloss spar urethane. Sprayed the channels with summit racing single stage hot rod black urethane.

A little bit of progress this weekend. Installed the fuel tank, rear bumper and plate and the rear tail lamps.

NIce. exact same tail lamps i purchased. And i actually finally got them wired up and working this weekend. Did you have to get the resistors too to get them to flash correctly?

I am running the rear wiring harness now so i don't know if i need resistors yet. I'll let you know this weekend.

Gotcha. I used an "EZ Wiring" harness. The LED tail lights definitely required an inline resistor to get them to flash. Mine wouldn't even light up the blinker until i wired the resistor in. Good news, is at least it is a cheap part on Amazon.

Not sure what kind of harness you are using. On mine, the blinker wire and the brake light wire are the same wire on my harness (made for a tail light that functioned as both the blinker and the brake light), so i ended up just running a separate brake light switch from the proportioning valve to get it all to work right.

lol, seeing the rest of your work, you will have no problem figuring it out, but thought the information would be helpful.
