There is a better chance that nothing happen. The system is open air. I have several of these old radiators. I will confirm this tomorrow.

The lowest I could find that fits is a 7 psi cap but that seems to be OK, I've had it on the truck for over a year now.

I run Stant #10228 caps on my Binders. I believe it is a 7psi cap.

I did have a look at several L&R radiators. Both are set up for a pressure cap. Both have 3# caps.

I thought I responded to this but don’t see it.
Thanks for the radiator advice. I’m not sure if I should be too worried about the pressure in a new aluminum radiator with all new hoses. It came with a 6lb cap. It would only release when it gets too hot anyhow?

I have been working on this ol pickup allot trying to get it roadworthy and I finally got it. It’s a long way from a frame off restoration but it’s come a long ways in less then a year for a truck that’s been sitting for almost 40 years. Thanks for everyone’s ideas, and advice. This forum has a ton of great info.
