I’m only going to pull the block and skim it if it leaks. The trough is about .0015-.002”. After talking with the machine shop we agreed it’ll likely seal just fine. If it doesn’t then I’ll pull the entire engine and have the block “trued up”. The stick out on the pistons is likely too much to do more than skim surfaces without running into collision issues.
