I can't stand "puck" Clutches and will not have one in anything I own. Yeah, I know they handle more torque, but at a cost.
In a truck, you are looking at replacing the flywheel when it is time to replace the clutch. Also they have no "slip" so are either on or off, hard on driveline.

Not much progress, but I did have some free time and welded the lower intake manifold runners to the new plenum. I did a bunch of the welding on the exhaust manifold too but didn't snap a pic of it.

Re: Sol's '54 R112

Another year gone by without doing much work on this project. I did snag a hood today that looked to be in better shape than my current one. While it is straighter, it also has some rust. Was hoping the guy had some other parts I may have needed but the story was he found this truck in the woods on a farm he was clearing out and it was quite far in its journey to return to the earth so he only grabbed the hood and maybe some interior bits, but he couldn't recall.

Cross member and rear edges are thin

But at least it isn't all twisted up and dented like the one that came with the truck

Trying to get motivated to work on bigger projects again. I recently completed phase 1 of my latest project truck for my lady. Bought this crew cab Frontier with a blown up engine and swapped in the V8 from a Titan.

She went to a new home.

Which is just the barn on the 20 acre farm we bought 2 months ago. Temporary living arrangements while I get the new 30x50 shop squared away

Re: Sol's '54 R112

Finally got the main shop organized enough to retrieve the 54 from the barn.
