Re: what transmission?

It should be a Borg-Warner T89. I'd check Rockauto for parts.

Re: what transmission?

If you order from RockAuto, look in the vendors section of our forums, They always have a current 5% discount code that you can use.

Re: what transmission?

You may want to double check what transmission you have before ordering parts. There should be a number on the transmission usually on the passenger side, should be a raised number. They had two three speed transmissions with three on the tree. One was much smaller than the other.

Re: what transmission?

There were two...the HBS, which was lighter duty, and the T-87, which was heavier.

Go to the section marked THE LIBRARY, go to Page 2, click on JOHN'S SITE. Go to the parts manual section at John Hansen's site [scroll down the page to find it], and it should give you the factory parts information, including exploded views.
My posts contain my own opinions...your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.
