Swiss Army Vise Grip/jar opener pliers/big walnut crackers..........

When we were deciding what the interior would look like, the misses said it needed to have arm rests ......... guess we'll have arm rests and not door pulls/grab straps.

Re: Project 51 L 110

After nearly 40 years of marriage to the same woman, I am still waiting for "her better half" to appear. Our '40 Ford is not getting rear armrests because "she" commanded it be so. LOL
I was digging around the shop this afternoon and I found these armrests. They were going into our Ford . They are from SMART PARTS IN Kelowna. I went to the local BMW recycler this afternoon and bought two door pull handles for $10

Re: Project 51 L 110

I think the door rubber came from my order from travelall parts.com. I will do some research and get back to you.

Edited: I checked their site and it is item number TP16104, $58.95 for '50-'57 Travelall and pickups. My builder used weather stripping adhesive to glue these in. While I know he has a lot of experience with this sort of thing, there may be better ways to install it. Other members may have better ways and photos to back up their experiences.

At the time I ordered from travelallparts.com, I didn't know Restoration Specialties had the IH rubber. Checking their catalog shows they have door weather stripping #990074 @ $72.50 for '50-'56 L, R, S models. I would suggest you download their catalog as they also have trim attachment clips, special screws, and a LOT of other goodies, too. My catalog is a few years old and the price may now be different.
