right side tank was an available option, not many people had it installed though, I saw a S series panel travelall with dual tanks, had factory cut out on passenger side, not an after job, there was a lever under the front seat that you switched back and forth between tanks.

I noticed, in one of your pictures, M18 MILWAUKIE. That is my favorite brand, sadly, the tags say made over there. A few months ago I bought a MILWAUKIE M12 drill And Flashlight. If you need really big light, the MILWAUKIE M18 light works really well. The LED lights can be adjusted from one direction to 360 degree. I'm getting about 13 hours on one charge.

And also on the tanks. I get the feeling that it was put there for looks only. I feel like i remember when i took them off that it looked like it was two driver side tanks because the sending unit was in the same spot on both. And to make the filler stick out the right way....would essentially make that useless. I could be wrong on that, i haven't even looked at them in a while

Well, it was really nice last night...80 degrees. A nice relief from the 95+, which makes it really hard to work in my West facing garage.

I am putting in hours, but the visual progress is slow. I was able to get my fenders straight and back in primer. The grill is straigt, just needs re-shot. So, me and my buddy put some time in on the cab.

Even a little progress is some progress i suppose.

Lloyd has a truck with the optional passenger side tank. I believe he has posted pics of it. It's not a very common option.

Redneck paint shop opened up tonight. I got my dry air setup, shot epoxy out of a real paint gun for the first time. i have to body work the door and the hood, but the grill is pretty much good to go for now. Pretty happy with the results. I guess i'll see what i really have tomorrow in the light.

Small parts cleanup sure is time consuming

Looking good , its coming along .. Another one on the road soon.. Yes its a lot of time consuming on small parts, wait till you start to put it back together some things seem to take forever..

Cab is in primer. My little inspector was pointing out the runs that i had made :/

tons of rain here this weekend, but i got a little time in the garage.....cleaned, prepped, painted, shot undercoating on the underside of the cab. Not a whole lot of work hours, but its a two day job thanks to having to wait 6-8 hours for the eastwood rust encapsulator to work and then dry before putting on the rubberized undercoating. fortunately, the floor underneath was very solid, with only slight surface rust. i am hopeful this will be a decent amount of protection (frankly, this truck doesnt live in Iowa anymore, so no salt on the roads down here in Texas). wire wheeling and then painting upside down really isnt very much fun
