I kind of knew that. I was hoping you might BS me a little with something like, "the local homeless guy " or ......................................

I have to thank bsievers1616 for the inspiration to buy my own crimp tool. I posted it in what is in your toolbox.

Re: Brad's 1954 R Series Build

I am figuring the same thing. If I all goes well I will have two more Vintage AC systems to plumb in two IHC pickups. I have had a few requests to build the hoses for others. I will have to see how I feel about it when that time comes. Thanks again

Interior is cleaned up.

Glass is ordered, Wheels and Tires ordered. Once the wheels come in (should be end of January), i can actually measure for the rear axle and get that ordered too.

Axle, or do you mean driveshaft?
Get the little inspector / firecracker to build the shaft. Happy New Year

Re: Brad's 1954 R Series Build

Both actually. I need to get the rear wheels in place and have the measurement between wheels so i can order the new rear axle. I figure that i'd get the wheels i wanted, then build the rear out based on where i want the wheels to sit........then once all that is in I'll have to get the driveshaft measured and built. One step at a time.

Turns out, i got a call and the wheels are in as of today! So, planning to pick them up after work tonight. With some luck i'll have some kind of mock up pic to share this evening. I'm pretty excited to see how they are going to look.

Here they are.....275's in the front, 315's in the rear. Deep offsets for a killer look i think

Like the shiny stuff! It'll look like it's going 30 mph when it's sitting still. :)
