Traveled about 13 hours from Ohio to South Dakota yesterday. On a family oriented vacation. Took a little rest time in Walcott, Iowa at the Iowa 80, Worlds Largest Truckstop. Browsing through this cavernous place and what did I come across but this beautiful ‘39 Model D2. Also saw a ‘47 Dodge Powerwagon but I didn’t photograph it.

It is a beauty isn't it! Saw that one when I took the 74 pickup to a fellow in Ohio a couple of years ago. I understand that they have more vehicles in another building. Would love to go again one of these days. We have a "small" museum here in Boise that has lots of trucks. It is the Yanke Motor Museum here is it's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Yanke-Motor-Mu ... 068086812/ You do have to make an appointment.

Yes there is a large separate building with a trucking museum, but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I’d say it’d take a couple hours to get through it judging from the size of the building.
