Just visiting

As we travel, it is nice to comment about where we are going and/or where we have been and all the IHC trucks that we have seen on our journeys.

Just visiting

A friend and I have been invited to visit a man and his collection of trucks, tractors, hit and miss engines and shop equipment. The fellow is pocket change short of 100 years old. Nothing is available if he does not like a person. This is an invitation to visit, so I'm OK.
I will ask to take pictures then maybe post a few pictures later today. If the weather looks like rain, I'm driving.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Re: Just visiting

We did not get to visit with the man and his collection. When we arrived at the home, one of the neighbors told us that his daughter just took him to the hospital, non-emergency. We will try again another day.
the day was not a total loss because I had a good ride in the country. Even 100km east of the city, the traffic was fairly heavy. I saw several heavy K model Binders in an industrial yard. The one that first caught my eye was a retired logging truck, complete with old logs, it was posed to look like it was descending into a small lake. I will get pictures next time. We did get to visit with the guy who built the "L" that has a removable roof like a Chevy SSR. His 1948 "K" 4X4 was there today. It has a 572 BBC stuffed into the engine bay. I will ask to take a few pictures, next time. The yard was a no dust zone today. Some freshly painted stuff was out in the sun.
