This subject has probably been beaten to death, but does anyone know a source for the original type oil pressure sending unit, or if a non working one can be fixed? Stickman 207

Ours should be a 50# unit. I am in the process of trying the following:

http://lbcunited.com/earlyford2/product ... ts_id/6662

It is $50. If you find one cheaper let me know. In the meantime, I recently removed the oil pan on my D-2 and will be installing the above oil sensor while I have everything apart and cleaned up a little - will let you know how it works. Or if you beat me to it (and you try it), let me know how yours works out :)

Thanks John- This once again brings up the discussion about king seeley "pulse" gauges and whether the sending unit that was on old Fords will work. I look forward to hearing how it works in your D-2. - Stickman 207
