seeing how were hot on six speeds ,anybody got recommendations for the muffler...had one made a while back but it was to small dia./to long..to loud also ( didn't seem to have any packing..it did have some holes on inner pipe ).planning on using original hangers..looks like the dia. should be in the 6 plus inches....as a side note ..new to site and where to pick/post/pull ..try an email forward (placard) it said sent and hope they got it.....

Happen to have a picture of what you think one might look like? I have two (2) that are supposed to be NOS for my 36 and they are both different from each other.

Old Crow, I could give you the original IH part number for the muffler, but I doubt it could be crossed over. From any photos I have seen, 6 inches could very well be the diameter. From the looks of photos it could be around 18 inches long too. If anyone has an original still on the truck chime up!
