Re: Replacement headlight bulbs

A quick search doesn't list many options on single contact bayonet in 6 volt. I'm guessing this is before pre focus headlights come in? They can have a single contact but don't have pins on the side, they use a ring that has key hole slots in it, push in a turn but the retainers are on the outside of the socket.
That bulb isn't built for automotive but if it fits the socket, it might work, just how long it would last, and how well it lights up the road would be a question. I don't suppose you'll be driving the 6ss at night alot!

Right you are cornbinder89. Probably not driving at night:-)
But I will post a follow up when I get the bulbs installed.
Thanks

Re: Replacement headlight bulbs

I found Splendor 1133 bulbs that were made in Holland. Seem bright enough for night driving. There 6-8 V 33 C.P. Ba 15S 1133.

Well I'm finally finished with my headlights. I ordered the 1133 bulbs from ebay and they work great! They are shaped kinda like a garlic bulb.
I also had some lens made from shower doors. I think they look great.
I'll try to attach pictures.
