Do you have measurements or an example? What is the material? I bet I could make one if you can't find one.

Mine is missing, not sure of the dimensions. It looks like its just a light metal mushroom.

I wonder if they are the same one from a Six Speed Special. I either may have an extra one or we can use it as a pattern. I will check when I get back Sunday Night.

Greatly appreciated. I don't have anything other than the photograph to see what should be there.

Ok I went out and looked. I don't have a spare steering wheel with a horn. I do have the one that is on the six speed special I have. Make note that the material for the horn seems to be bakelite. I was almost surprised. The horn is riveted on the a brass backer plate as you can see in the photos. NOTE: don't pry it off. Opps... anyway. In my parts book the part number is 10418va. How much of your horn assembly do you have? I will be taking my horn button off to "rebuild" now so I will post more as I have it. My sister has made replacement knobs before of plastic but figuring out how to replicate the contacts and so forth might get interesting. Finding a replacement bakelite horn button in good shape maybe almost impossible...

That doesn't look like my situation, i have a rod that travels through the steering column down to the bottom. The end of the rod touches the brass at end when the button is depressed. There is a small plastic circular piece at the top of the rod.

I will post a picture tomorrow.

when I get to my '27 in the spring I will pull my Horn Button apart. The piece on the top of the rod is baklite but the top has gone.
I'll send you a picture of it when I take it apart.'

This is the only picture I have of the one on my 27. Yes it is on a rod from memory it screws on.
