D-2 Headlight Parts

Does anyone know where to find headlight retaining rings and headlight bezels for a 1940 D-2?

Thanks,

John

Re: D-2 Headlight Parts

It's possible a 36-38 Chev headlight ring might work. Try "The Filling Station" http://www.fillingstation.com

See page 196 of their online catalog and parts GR47 and GR48. Maybe they would be gracious enough to sell one on a return basis if it doesn't fit. Since these are chrome then there;s no need for a bezel.

Jupes- Are your headlights sealed beam or the earlier silver reflector type with the pre focus bulbs? I have trim rings, reflectors , bulbs and the headlight bodies and brackets I would consider selling.- Stickman 207

Re: D-2 Headlight Parts

They are sealed beam. My originals were the bulb type but the buckets were rotten. The new buckets I have are sealed beam.

I take it that you’re saying the trim rings are different?

I am not sure. I can take some pictures of the trim rings I have and email them to you if you like. My email address is rush.daniel1@gmail.com. Stickman 207
