New D30

I've been away for a while, so I figured I'd catch up with you.

Last December I purchased a 1938 D30. It was a random find since I was looking for fenders for my 1940 D30.

It is also a fire truck, only has 4200 miles on the clock.

I think I may let the other D30 go to a new home, I'd like to keep it for my son but I only have so much shop space.

Hi Diesel - Can you provide some info on the D-30 you are thinking of selling? Thanks. Stickman 207

It's a 1940 D30, 155" wheelbase, DRW. Has the original 232HD. The motor was stuck but, I freed it up, it isn't running. The fenders are pretty beat up and straps were added to hold them to the cowl. I understand this was a common repair around here due to washboard roads. The cab, doors, hood, grill are better than many I've seen. Rust around the wiper enclosure inside the cab. No rust in the bottom of the grill or door skins. It has the optional oil filter, spare tire carrier, and international heater. The big selling point is a clear Nebraska title which was a bear to get.

The truck was cleaned out and put in indoor storage a few years ago. No nature to contend with.
