Early carburetor float adjustment

Have had to explain this to a number of customers in the last few weeks, enough for a how-to article:

neat thing about the Holley 1904, 1920 etc, you can remove the economizer and take a "wet" float reading even if the engine is running. Can't make any adjustments without dis assembly but at least you can rule out fuel level when diagnosing.
not as neat as the 2300 and the Holley 4 bbl with the level plug and external float adjustment, but still handy.

Return to 1940 and Older
