'36 C-30 distributor points

need some help here, fellows...where can I find another points mechanism for this c-30 distributor. If pic attaches you can see the metal band holding bolt assembly is broken.

Pertronix's have a less than stellar reputation. I would take the points to an old time parts store with paper catalogs and look thru the buyers guide for a match. I would be very suprized if you couldn't find one. A computer will likely be of no help as they don't cross reference that far back.
BTW AC Delco point set D109 looks to be a close match and might be the exact replacement.

This style of points also available at NAPA stores as Echlin CS765. The "horseshoe" style base is a unique feature for these points.

I recall Pertronix does not make a sensor that is a "drop in" fit in the small diameter style 6 volt positive ground distributor heads. Someone in a past post on this site said they did a successful modification to accommodate a Pertronix system.
