Floor Mat

Anyone have an idea as to what the original floor mat may have looked like in a D-2? (I assume there was one?)

I was looking for some bulk rubber floor mat material, but came across this:

It looks like a great match, but was wondering if the K1 cab dimensions are the same and if all of the holes will line up? They look right except for the slot between the shifter hole and the starter switch hole?

Otherwise, any recommendations for good bulk material to cut to size?

I have had original D-2 trucks that had remnants of a rubber floor covering, with jute underneath, but i couldn't say if they were factory supplied. They were crumbling by the time I bought both trucks.

Give George Kirkham a call he will be able to tell you if they will fit.

I don't think they will fit. The D cab is different than the K cab.- Stickman207

a K, KB-6 up floor mat should work in your truck, KB-6 and D cabs basically the same with differences at the cowl section,

as Stickman207 wrote a K, KB-1 thru 5 cab is different than D,

Bedrock and Stickman are right on. Got a response from Errol at Southland as follows:

"The "D" cab is the same as the "K6-14" large k series. We only have the "K1-K5" floor mat."

So I either need to find a K6 mat or make my own.
