D2 / Ford parts interchange

Hey Fellas,

Just some more info from my build I thought might be helpful for the next guy:

I found three items from early 1935 - 1939 Fords that are similar to the D2 truck parts. I ordered front bumper bracket rubber bushings and they fit like a glove! Also, door handle rubber pads are an exact fit from the similar matching Ford handle. The door check arms and rubber snubber is the same. I haven't ordered yet, but my guess is that the door seals will also be a good fit too. Hope this helps!

Thanks. When you get these things in, and have the part numbers for them, could you post that?

MACS catalog direct fit for D2 Internationals:

40-41 Ford Pickup bumper arm grommet: 91A-17772/3
37-47 Ford Pickup door handle pad: 48-7022428
38-39 Ford Pickup Radiator shell lacing: 81C-8222 (I used this for the cab side hood lacing)
32-37 Ford (all) door check arm: B-702828

Hope this helps!
