What ohms C-1 fuel sending unit

Hi All,
I discovered there is no fuel sending unit in my gas tank. Surprize! That probably has something to do with why the gas gauge doesn't work?

Seriously, does anyone know what ohm fuel sending unit do I need?

Thanks for your advice.

I don't know about the C series, but the later K series DO NOT use a streight resistance type sender, it is a pulsed sender with a resistance card biult in. There is no replacement plain resistance sender that will work properly, you have to have the pulsed one.

Thanks Cornbinder. Would the "pulse type" have a "pulse unit attached to the back of the fuel gauge?

No, it is biult into the sending unit, which is why you can not replace the sender with a "modern" flat resistance type.

Ok thanks. I will have to try to do some cross checking. The part # for my C-1 sending unit is 50041 H.
