Re: 36 C-30 seat frame

mike365 I don't know about monsonmotors but I would like the measurements of the wood frame that goes under the seat with the gas tank filler on the passenger side and maybe some dimensions of the back of the seat. Some pictures wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks

Re: 36 C-30 seat frame

My apologies for being so late back to this party. If you look at my wordpress signature and go to the heading of "Help from your own back yard" you will see two pictures of the seat. I can gladly copy the dimensions. Or if you guys think it's needed. I'll just do a single subject matter entry on wordpress with a write-up and complete dimensions. Any votes?

I have tried clicking on your signature link, It does bring be to a sign in page, but only if I have a Word press sign in. I do, however I no longer remember it. So Perhaps a different way to access your site?

I don't know about the others but I don't think we need a whole write up but the dimensions would be nice

I have TWO rotten C-30 seat frames.
When I feel better I'll measure them.

OK, I'll start with what I have in front of me. The back of the seat. it's 48 3/8" wide. 20 7/8" tall. The material is 7/8" thick. The top and side rails are 2 5/8" across and the bottom rail is 4 1/2". All of the corners have a 1 3/4" radius. All of the corners are half lapped. There is a center vertical support but I don't have the dimensions for it. But it can't be to hard to figure out with all the other points plotted. The seat bottom is a whole different animal. If I can figure out posting pictures here someday....

Hope this helps a little.

One of these days, we will have to exchange phone numbers and see if we can't get you on the way to posting pictures. Just send me a note.

I don't know why it seems so hard. I can do just fine on my wordpress stuff. Even link videos from youtube on another board I'm on. I'll corral one of the offspring next time they are here and get it figured out. Is there infinite space in our brains? I better write this down huh?
