international 1 ton

I have an international one ton but can't find the serial number our vin number. I believe it's a 1929 and think it's a six speed special after talking to my dad. Can anyone tell me where I should find the serial number and how I can tell if it is a six speed special?

You will find it on the side of the chassis rail near the front like in this picture.
