Carburetor information wanted

Trying to fill in some of the holes in my carburetor information database. Have virtually no carburetor information for the years 1921,1922, and 1923; but have several holes in the 1920's.

Here is a link to the listing: http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/TruckkitsI.htm#TkitIHC

I would be happy to pay for photocopies of carburetor pages from IHC factory parts book for documentation to fill in the holes.

Also, with any data research project of this magnitude errors occur. I have no ego. If you can document an error, I would welcome the correction.

I have used the following resources:

(A) Carburetor manufacturer parts listings
(B) IHC factory parts listings
(C) Model information from Branham Insurance books (supposedly, Branham sent questionaires to all of the vehicle manufacturers to fill out, so the Branham information should be quite accurate).

And the link is there for anyone to use.

Thanks for any help.

Jon.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Thought I'd bump this up. There are 3 or 4 guys that might be able to help but, they're not around it seems(?).
:h0212:

FYI, Looking over the list I noticed an error, the K/KB series ended in 1949 as did the GRD (175,214,233) engines. I see others too,if interested in correcting let me know.

Jon I will get as much information as I can and supply it to you. I will scan it and put them up on here as other might also be interested.

Just give me a little time as have just about finished a very busy season for work and am still trying to get back onto both my K & Model H Restorations at the same time.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Scott and Trevor - ANY information will be appreciated. As I mentioned in the first post, I have no ego where this database is concerned. Virtually all of the information was taken from the literature of the carburetor manufacturers, and it is often off in beginning or ending year.

I began this project in 1967, with the database being stored on IBM 80-column punch-cards. By the end of 1967, I had approximately 1500 records. Today, the database encompasses virtually 100,000 records; and each record is 300 characters, so somewhat more than the 80-column cards would easily hold. Of course, the database covers all makes, not just I.H.C.

And since it was begun in 1967, obviously, there is NO hurry.

Thanks, Jon.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Jon, I can give you links for a number of IH parts manuals,3 members have them on their web sites and are free to use/download (PDF).
None are for the models you're looking for info on but, might still be useful.

I can relate to the umm, wanting info in mfr. and aftermarket catalogs, especially when it comes to Internationals. I prefer looking up the IH pn and going from there.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Scott, I would appreciate the links. Even if I already have the information, it helps verify the database.

Thanks, Jon.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Scott - every forum has a different method of PM.

carbqueenatsbcglobaldotnet

Adjust in the usual manner.

The reason I use my wife's email is I was getting 2500 spams daily, and had to change. And that is why I post it like above.

Trevor - WONDERFUL!
Not only can I update the database, with the manufacturer's (Ensign) part numbers that I recognize, I actually have parts for this one.

Re: Carburetor information wanted

Jon

From the late teens to 1923 these heavier IHC trucks all used the Ensign 1 1/4 model D carb.

I.5 ton model K renamed model 41
3 ton model G renamed model 61
5 ton model L renamed model 101
