D2

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if a 1/2 ton K series windshield would fit on a D 2. I know they are very similar, but I'm not sure if it would be a exact fit. Thanks for the help.

K 1/2 ton no, they are rectangle squared, KB-6 up & K panel truck yes, they have teardrop corners like the D

D2 glass is physically larger than the small K's....
D2 windshield frame corners are rounded.... top/bottom of frame NOT parallel...
Doors don't fit, windshield regulator different..
Door strikes different, outside door handles different... inside window and door cranks the same...
Steering wheel, horn button different..... throttle/choke cables/knobs different...
Instrument panel SIMILAR but different... oil gauge is silver on D's and up to 50 lbs, K's is tan and up to 80 lbs...
SOME D's the temp gauge sets at MAX setting with switch off, others NOT TRUE... both are silver....
Back-glass window is the same tho... therefore the back-glass garnish and gaskets are the same...
