1937 D Series Tips

So I have three D Series trucks and wanted to make one good one. I was originally going to use a green diamond engine but due to difficulties finding brake parts we have completely changed things up. I machined the front I beam and ordered front spindles from Speedway so I now have disk brakes. Installed a Ford Explorer rear end which gives me rear disk brakes. Built motor mounts and installed a Chevy LS 5.3. Fits like a glove. This has been a blast adding new but keeping the old look. I now have two extra trucks with a ton of parts to sell. Have a good running green diamond engine, transmissions, bell housing, starters, cabs, frames, brake parts, stainless steel trim pieces, interior items, you name it probably have it. I want to get rid of all the extras. One of the extra trucks has a title.

I would be interested in some lower grill trim pieces as well. I think it would be helpful if you put up a list of what you have, or at least what models of trucks you are parting out. Pictures would be great.

Re: 1937 D Series Tips

I could post what I have but it would be a novel. I have tried posting some pictures but I am having difficulty uploading them. If anyone wants pictures of items just send me your email and i will email pictures to you. I have a 1937 D-30 with a title. I also have a 1940 D-3 without a title. The D-3 is unique as it is a "Prospectors Truck". I have grills, hoods, window frames, frames, two cabs, gauges, glove box doors, visors, one set of perfect lights, door handles, trim pieces, an extra box, fenders that need some major work, and a set of rims. The D-30 still has the front center caps on it and is a solid framed truck. I have a Green Diamond engine that is in great shape and runs fine. I have two transmissions for a D-2 and D-3. I have seat frames, bumpers, floor pans, on and on and on.

Hi byrnejos- Regarding D-30 parts, I am interested in the set of perfect lights( do they have the park lights on them?) ;the lowest grille trim pieces and a gauge cluster. Could you PM or email me @rush.daniel1@gmail.com with prices? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!- Dan
