grinding a cam?

I have found cam bearings for my FAB2 the only ones I found are .020. So I am looking for someone that will grind and polish a cam. Any ideas?

Ask at your local engine shop. if they don't they should know who can.

I tried and they all say they wont touch it. they will turn and balance my crank and that is it. I asked and have called at least a dozen places. Now I am looking out side Mo.

Re: grinding a cam?

If the cam bearing journals are ok, might be cheaper to have bushing made our of brass, to replace the old bearings, rather then cut the cam to the bearing size.
