Saw this on ebay. I don't recognize or remember it.
Do I have it in the right section?

That's the Emeryville-built W series built between '46 and '50 for the western states with their longer length allowances. Had Cummins diesel or Hall-Scott gas engines. If you look at the hood/grille styling you can see a resemblance to the L and R-400 series like mine and the cab to the Transtar conventionals of the '70s and '80's. The cab was called the "three-man cab". Don't know how many were built but I've seen a couple for sale in the last couple of years.

the one in the brochure is the earlier version has K-KB trim and logos on hood, different cab than your L, R looking cab

I like the twin crank out front windshields, 1936-38 GMC BIG trucks had cabs with dual crank out windshields too, very rare,

of course every Diamond T from 1935? to 1949 had the dual cranks outs.

I have this huge 3 diamond logo that I'm guessing goes on the front of a truck, (I have to dig it out, where ever it is),

maybe it came off one of these?

Yes, the early ones had different cab, as mentioned called the 3 man cab. Looked more like a K then the later "westcoasters". There is one on Belle Fousche, SD I'd like to get my hands on.

They always had disc wheels? No cast spokes?
I'd love to have an early one!

Disk or spoke was whatever the cutomer ordered. Disk were common west of the Mississippi, but also heard spokes refered to as "Calif wheels". Last trailer I ordered new, I spec'd spokes, and it was considered "oddball". I have one K with disks and one with spokes.
