I have (what I have determined to be), a complete rolling chassis for a 1924 IHC Model 103. It was used as a trailer for a County Highway work wagon. It has the 40" Goodyear rear hard rubber tires on it. It has the Torbensen drive rear wheels. I can post pictures later today. I don't know what to do with it. It's in pretty nice shape considering the age. The tie rods are gone because it was converted for towing. I found the IHC logos on it. Is it something I should try to sell, are there people into the big old trucks? It must have been a monster in it's day.

Big chunks of steel. I would love to take it to the Grain Elevator and weigh the chassis. It's the shorter wheelbase but it's still was rated a 5 ton truck. There is actually sliding channels and if you take the bolts out it would slide out to make the longer wheelbase.

I thought steel, but was not sure since a lot of vehicles that era were wood.

Thinking outside the box (.....and no it's not a box of wine). Hows about smog_guy uses this frame on a new Toyota build!!!! That old body/new frame theme has been used up, and this frame looks like it's up for the challenge! What you say smog_guy, give it a try? :P :P :P :P :P :P :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I have limits and that exceeds it!
It needs to have the correct cab placed back on it.
It's a rolling piece of history. Just so cool.
You ARE thinking outside the wine box!

Someone needs to take that chassis and this 103 I found with a cut-off frame and put the two together into a complete, running truck!
