D-2 seat mount

I recently I purchased a seat bench for my 37 D2 1/2 ton . I'm confident that it is the correct seat, I bought it from "Outback Parts" in Spokane Wa. They told me that it was out of a 38 D-15. Should be a fit.
Problem is that since my half ton had no seats in it when I bought it, I have no idea how it mounts. It doesn't seem to fit on the pedestal in the cab.
I cannot find any details or close up photos of how this seat mounts....can anyone help?

Hey Mojave,

Great looking truck, luv to see more pictures, anyway since My cab is just back from the paint shop here's few pictures that may help, Its a D2 also. The setup is very simple. The bench has two holes drilled into the wood frame that sit on 2 alignment pins on the metal frame that welded to the cab floor. Then the top bench has 4 metal straps that slid into 4 metal brackets spot welded to the back of the cab.

Hope this helps. If You need more pictures let Me know.

I liked defiantly...
I'm a D series nut. I think the seat system was the same on the D-2 for the entire run. So the seats should be the same.
I've never seen a D-15 in the flesh. Must not have sold too many here.
D-30s have the gas tank under the seat. Different seat, I think.
D-35s have a different seat pedestal. It's closed on top on the one I'm working on now (beer truck).
So possibly different seat?
I might have the raw bones for a D-2 seat somewhere. No upholstery left on it to speak of.

I would very much like to purchase the correct seat, in any condition. I would want to have it re upholstered any how.
Would very much appreciate the opportunity to purchase one from you if you have one.
Thanks
Jim
