Does anyone know if a mechanical type fuel pump from a 1936 International pick-up truck would work on a 1936 International c-30- 1.5 ton stake bed truck. Both are flathead six cylinders My stake bed fuel pump seems to be malfunctioning. The stake bed malfunctioning pump says AC 7556 and does not have a glass sediment bowl. Seems no one is rebuilding fuel pumps here in Richmond, Va. Thanks, Brad

If they both will mount the same way and the "arms" are the same, there should be no reason for it not to work. There are places to get kits for these I believe.
now I will shut up and let the one who have "more" knowledge than I speak.

Take a close look at the fuel pump on your truck, their should be a number on it. Use it to search and verify if the other pump comes up with the same application. I had found a carter fuel pump on my 34 B-3, the base fuel pump crossed to a current number and I found one at NAPA, it did have a slightly different angle where the fuel filter was mounted on the side, but mechanically was the same.
