Oil can trivia

I was cleaning up the firewall of the 6 speed special and got to wondering about the oil can holder. Anyone know if there was a special IH oilcan that occupied the perch when new, or maybe you were just supposed to usethe one off your mower.

Here is the engine compartment of my Six Speed Special. I believe the oil can is the original. The only thing that I can tell that is not original is the coil which the PO had changed.

Not sure of vintage but I have an older International oil can, will try to get a photo of it. Just checked and there are several on flea bay. MM

Most of the ones on Fleabay say "Ford "on them!
