Oil can trivia

I was cleaning up the firewall of the 6 speed special and got to wondering about the oil can holder. Anyone know if there was a special IH oilcan that occupied the perch when new, or maybe you were just supposed to usethe one off your mower. :m03104:

Here is the engine compartment of my Six Speed Special. I believe the oil can is the original. The only thing that I can tell that is not original is the coil which the PO had changed.

Not sure of vintage but I have an older International oil can, will try to get a photo of it. Just checked and there are several on flea bay. MM
