1928 6 speed special

Hi : Finally got my old truck resurrected . Oil pressure problem solved for those of you wondering. I took the engine apart and had new camshaft bearings turned. The fellow who done the overhaul failed to replace these bearings. Valve clearances were also done to specs. Engine purrs sweetly now. Will post pics later. Thanks everyone for advice given . I wish Jackiedog was around to show as he gave me a lot of good advice.

Great to hear you have got it all up and running. Don't worry JD will be sitting watching with a great big smile on his face.

Congratulations on your new truck. It looks very daunting to bring it up to condition.

I have an early 1928 that I bought last year from the man in North Dakota who restored it in 1991-1992. Mine is serial # X4977. I understand the big difference between mine and the later 1928 is mine has only rear wheel brakes and the gas tank is under the dash instead of under the seat. If there is any information or pictures that I can send you just let me know.
