Flat 6 Engine/trans assm..

Any intrest in any of this. not sure of value. but 1940 d15 flathead six(froze) and manual trans (spins freely) will part out if needed, but would rather just sell or trade complete. supposedly ran but burned oil and smoked when parked (1979) Located Western Illinois

Teel, if you get not bites, and you have room, do not forget the "smalls" that are there, sometimes worth more than the whole thing, at least in my opinion. Can not preach that enough.

might take a few things, idk what.. but i need the room, so its probably just gonna go to the shredder if no hits in a week or so... just wanted to see if anyone needs it or anything off of it... was hoping to trade for a old beat up binder truck bed..haha

Here are some of the things to think about keeping: senders for fuel, oil, water. If starter is good, generator. Oil filter housing, oil bath air filter, Carb, fuel pump. Few other things that others might think of. Those items, properly stored will not take up much room. I have sold Oil bath air cleaners for around $40 plus shipping. Just to give you an Idea.
Just my thoughts.

Is that transmission the same 3 speed used in a D-2? First gear in my D-2 wants to growl a lot,and I might be interested in your trans if it is the same as mine and in good condition. How much do you want for it?

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss prices on the public boards.

I agree with Lloyd- some of that stuff is worth its weight in gold. I have been looking for the clamp that holds the oil bath aircleaner to the carb for two years for my KB-3. They are different from other brands.- Stickman 207
