It looks like a King Seeley, Can you cross post a picture? Does he have a float? If of the era, it should work.

I was trying to buy a sender unit. If it was close I'd try it.
Looking for a 1940 D-2 fuel level sender unit. King Seeley, of course.

It's definitely not an IH number. The "KS" like Lloyd said is likely King Seeley.

That's what I wanted to know.
Looks like a bunch of old cars used this system besides Ford and IHC.

the only way that I know of to see if it would work is to know the resistance that the original had and what that one has, and, what to do to "make" it work if not the same. Good luck in finding the right one.
