Here are some early picks of my 1938 IH, taken about 3 years ago. I finally got it on the road, the last day of Aug. 2012.

A friend pulled it out of a junk yard in Gallup NM, a few years back and had it sitting in his back yard along with a 51 Ford, a 40 Ford cab. his 37 Chevy Coupe and a 60 Corvette. (he has since added another 40 Ford cab on a 86 Toyota frame. I bought it in April of 2010, as you see it in the first pics. I had never build a hot rod, so at age 60 I got educated. I hadn't turned a wrench on a car in 35 years, and then it was just the simple stuff. It took me 2 1/2 years to finish it, and now I can't wait to start on another one. I just bought a 1939 IH truck and am trying to decide whether to build it or sell it. I want a bit more challenge for my creative ideas. It is exactly the same as my '38, so I may look for something totally different to spark some new ideas.
Here are some of the features on the '38.

The wheels came with the frame and cab. The tires came from C& R, They are tall truck tires 16". I've been told they are the wheels it came with. Not sure.
