You are making very good progress. Trevor and I are anxious to see more pictures. Definitely drop the pan and shovel out the gunk. For many years I swore by non detergent oil, now I use detergent and if the manual calls for heavy oil I add Lucas oil stabilizer. I put the addresses of some ring and gasket suppliers under parts list topic on this forum. Clean the top of the piston to check for over size before you order the rings, one time I didn’t check mine. Mind the bearing shims in each con rod.

Re: New for me 1924 IHC truck

HI there! I got one too. It does run and drive and have a few extra parts. Mine is a Model 33 With a model 43 transmition (4speed rather than 3speed). I am really looking hard for a set of rear cast wheels for mine. Any help would be appreciated. I have rear cast but they are for a 43 and are just enough different they won't work the way they are.. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a quick note. The model 33 has a three speed transmition with an aluminum bell housing (did any of these survive?), the Model 43 a 4 speed with a cast steel bell housing. Both use a IHC Regular engine. The model 63 uses a IHC 10-20 engine.
