Can anyone tell me if the interior sun visor on a D2 was covered with any type of material or was it just metal?

Mine has a cardboard like material, I believe it's original.

I sold the original cardboard Ford visors to a keep-it-all-original person. Bob Drake Reproductions sell new frames. I fitted an ABS panel to the inside of each frame then covered the frames with leather. I sewed a slip on bag with Velcro on one end. The bag was turned right side out, slipped on.
The Ford mounting screw pattern is the same as IH.

If you find the material you want to use. I can stitch up what ever you need. Just pay the freight.
