Awesome, Trevor. I always like to discover the old highways/roads that weave in and out of our new Highway roadways, often taking a more treacherous path through the mountain country I live in. It is fun! Most of them are grown over with trees, but some are used as private roads. They are quite narrow, typically. The older guy will really enjoy the memories! Manny

Here we are out and about again, this time it was a mystery run down around the bay to Point Nepean.

Here I am at the start of the run

Image

Next we are parked up regrouping along the run, we had about 31 trucks on the run.
New side curtains worked really well as a strong cold breeze was coming straight in off the water.

Here we are parked up at the half way stop

Still a few bugs to iron out yet, she still needed a lift home.

Nearly half way back to the start a nut on the rear universal came loose and was binding up only when I put the brakes on, we thought we had either broken a spring or a lining had come off. So the safe move was to hitch a ride. All fixed now ready for our next outing in 2 weeks time.

Nice set of pictures! Almost makes me feel like I was there. Several

really nice Internationals there.

I assume Commer and Bedford are native Australian brands?

Dean

Both commer and Bedford are English (pommy) trucks and we did get a lot of them over here.

The trip in two weeks time is to the Aths show at Echuca so I'm sure I will get a lot of American trucks for you to look at.
