I did pick up a Lycoming 6 cyl a couple years ago. I have since sold it to Speedtruck Bill. MM

Is there something I should be adding to the fuel? seeing these trucks burnt leaded fuel in their day.

Matter of contention for some. Alcohol is the main thing in my mind that does harm to our engines. It is really not so much the engine, but the Rubber that is in original engine parts does not stand up to the Alcohol that is in today's fuel. My self, I burn regular with out alcohol in my older vehicles.
These are just my thoughts and others will probably have different ideas

Re: 1926 International S-26

It sounds like your truck is in wonderful condition. Don't worry about getting spare u joint, king pins, or 6 cyl engine, Wait and see just what it might need. (the distributor tune up parts is a good idea). Manny of us IH owners choose to keep the original patina of 90 year old original truck, If your truck has that little rust consider keeping it as a survivor. Best of luck and send photos when you get it delivered. Jim G
