I must say, its been a very warm welcome. I really didnt know that there would be so much help.

I do want to drive the truck a fair bit, I will contact the fellows in England to order. i should get two in case of future problems.

Binder Books has confirmed my order for the INT-3043 S-24 & S-26 operator's manual, should be very helpfull. im used to purchasing Haynes books (none available for this old truck).

i thought the gas cap was the same, all my research on the various years show the same tank. The fellow online had it from 1927 and up, he didnt have it in his books to fit the 26 model. This truck has the filler valve outside. I noticed that some of the American made units were in the cab above the tank.

The carburator was removed due to damage, its been replaced with a carburator from a tractor. i have asked for the make, model and year of the tractor but havent gotten a reply yet from the previous owner.

One item I havent had any problems with was getting the new tires, I got them shipped from Alberta to Saskatchewan in a day and a half.

Im inquireing about the distributor, wires and points because they are very old and brittel, the trucks still fires up on the first crank.

Its a very small world, I have received a confirmation from Robert Brodie who teaches construction in Melbourne Australia. Robert is coming down to see our fascilities and review what we teach here to our carpentry apprentices and our Building Construction Technicians. I noticed your from the same place, possible you know each other.

I did see your truck in a lot of carshows when I was researching the International trucks (before I made the decision to purchase).

I fell in love with the colour when I saw your truck. My wife also loves the colour

This is the only pic i have of the motor, she is in MooseJaw Saskatchewan awaiting for the closed transport to bring her to Ottawa.

Find out what part of Melbourne he is from as the population is about 4 million now, I live on the western outskirts of town about 21 miles from the CBD.

He teaches at Swinburne university. I didnt realize Melbourne was that big, i havent been to Australia yet (im verry afraid of snakes).

My Son picked the color it is "Claret" he also did all the painting in the shed at home and this is it first time it was out of the shed the paint is straight off the gun no cutting and polishing at all.

To keep it clean now all we do before a show is give it a squirt with fresh water and then shammy cloth it dry. If it did get really dirty we might soap it up a little and we always only wash it when heading out we put it away dirty.
