Not taking more than 2 gal of fuel

Help. 1939 d2 won't take any more gas. After 2 gallons it spills out. What am I missing?

Re: Not taking more than 2 gal of fuel

You mean you put 2 gallons in the tank and even though it is not full it spills out when running or driving? Or the tank will not take more than two gallons without appearing full?

There is no information to base a suggestion or guess on .
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

How would you know that? Inside scoop? the plot thickens

Reminds me of a couple inquiries ,
I poured the new oil in but it runs out the bottom , or rear tire looks flat but, only on the bottom
best one yet , Guy said; my seat on my R stops when it hits the cab rear is there a way to get it to slide back further ?

Innocent enough question or its a riddle :)
Either way I'll bite. Cheers!
