1909 Fire Truck
I am currently in the middle of a two week vacation and happened upon a find for the folks on this particular heading of the forum. I visited the transportation museum in Pulaski, Virginia and came upon a 1909 IHC fire truck that was the town's first motorized fire response vehicle. You can read the sign that goes along with it.
Also, while on this particular vacation, my wife and I took the tour at Coker Tire / Honest Charley Speed Shop and found out that Coker Tires can make wooden spoke wheels to replace any that may be missing or damaged beyond repair of virtually any vehicle ever made. I witnessed for myself the construction in their wooden wheel shop. There are hundreds of patterns for spokes and hoops. So if you are in need of replacement wheels and you are willing to pay what they cost, here is an option to help you over the hurdle.
