1937 IHC Rubber Bushings Question

Does anyone know where I could find the following rubber bushings for my 1937 IHC 1/2 Ton D-2 6 cylinder with an HD-213 engine. I just need the rubber bushings for the following areas of the truck:

Transmission Bell Housing support bushings

Radiator support bushings

Cab Bushings

Any info regarding suppliers or contact info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 1937 IHC Rubber Bushings Question

Look at Restoration Specialties number 20012 BUM. This is listed as solid rubber body mount. This may work for trans bell housing mounts. I have been looking for same mounts. For flat rubber bushings, there are plenty of rubber supply companies that stock different thickness of rubber stock. Some has thread embedded and some does not. Take your pick and cut to your size. Use drill to bore holes.

Re: 1937 IHC Rubber Bushings Question

If I couldn't find what I need I'd make it when feasible and for bushings or mounting insulators I'd try spring end pads for semi trailer suspension. They come in a number of sizes and thicknesses and have to be durable for what they're made for.

When a round one is needed a hole saw is what I'd use,then drill the center hole to the size. A drill press would be best if there is one.

These are holes saws in case anyone is unfamiliar with them;

This mfr. makes the above and many,many other bushings mostly for big trucks and trailers,the PDF catalog has measurements for many so might be worth looking at. It also lists mfr. & competitor pn's. 8-)
