1925 Model S

Well, I did what you told me to do last year and it worked. The coil was shot, replaced it and the truck fired up. The engine runs smooth and fires immediately. I drove the truck up on my float and ready for the long drive back to Ottawa.

Thanks for all the guidance.

Re: 1925 Model S

Need help on the spark retarder, is the 4 cylinder engine from the top or from the bottom like the 6 cylinder engine. I went and fiddle with the points and now I cant get the truck to start.

Re: 1925 Model S

Well I figured it out, the spark is from the bottom like it says in the manual (funny how reading really helps).

I rebuilt the carb, replaced the wires and plugs and it starts and runs like a dream.
